so driving home from work on thurs last week I snapped off the adjustable end on my track bar. Called up JKS and have the parts on the way. Hopefully ill be up for the cruise day on sat.

Without sway bar, yes. Without track bar too dangerous. I've driven my XJ several times without the sway bar on the road, but when my track bar was only loose it caused havoc with road manners.

Track bars for a coil sprung jeep are a must. The track bar keeps the axle from shifting side to side. The control arms arn't designed to control the lateral forces created when driving.

ya i mis-read the post. im used to jks being sway bar discos. but you can drive without a track bar also, not very safely but it can be done. i snapped my tracj bar clean in half once, and drove it to work that way. 25 miles. i tell ya it was kinda scary.
