I hate to do it, but in finding out that I'm losing my job this is going to have to go. If things work out and I have a job lined back up again quickly I'll turn around and buy another one, but until then I want to have the cash available.
1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport
4.0 5 Speed 194,??? miles
Rear Dana 44 4.56 gears, Detroit Locker, disk brakes
Front HP Dana 30 out of an XJ with 4.56 gears and Lock-Rite
Custom bumpers with winchplate on front and swing-out on rear
Rubicon Express 3.5†lift
Bilstein shocks, front swaybar disconnects
PSC Steering Box / Kilby Steering Box skid
JKS 1.25†body lift and 1†Motor mount lift
NP231 with slip yoke eliminator and Tom Woods CV driveshaft
JCR 1-ton steering system UTK
33x12.50.15 BFG Mud Terrains with aluminum wheels
Rock Sliders
Kilby fuel tank skid plate
Fabtech rear corner guards with LED sunken taillights
CJ style front turn signal lights / Flat-fendered front
Soft top with full steel doors
Hard top in excellent shape, but needs to be painted to match
Factory AC converted to on-board air
Recent Work in past 2 years
Radiator, water pump, thermostat, upper and lower hoses replaced
TPS replaced
Battery replaced
Alternator replaced with 90amp high output
Trans fluid, transfer case fluid and diff fluid all changed.
Front and rear brake pads replaced
All oil changes done at 3k miles
Have maintenance sheet available upon request
Extra Parts that come with it
Replacement bushings for RE control arms
Rear shock outboarding kit
New Pitman Arm
New BDS 4.5†coils for all the way around
Used BDS lower rear control arms (Uppers already replaced)
HD front lower control arm mounts for axle
LP D30 housing with knuckles. Has all but one outer axle shaft (I think). No wheel bearings.
Work it Needs
Needs catalytic converter and rear 02 sensor to pass CT inspection
Needs the bushings put in the control arms and front end tightened up
It runs great, shifts great, but is sloppy and feels loose when driving. BDS upper rear control arms installed when one of my upper RE control arms stripped out and I never got around to replacing the lowers to match so I know they are not adjusted properly. The pitman arm has play and that is why I have a new one and the control arm bushings in the front probably need to be replaced and they come with the Jeep. Currently is not registered or insured. Just found out that I’m losing my job and can’t afford to put anything more into the toy.
$5,800 OBO
