Rodger-upper control arm (pics please)

Rock-broke a leaf spring

Duece- his xj was jacked up before he even left for mohawk but the added damage was a bent LCA bracket and a popped Bead

Wow i think i missed one awesome trip

Post by: calvynandhobbs on July 27, 2010, 05:56:07 PM: I don't know if anybody took a pic of my upper control arm or not. I know I didn't. Basically the whole thing pulled apart. The threads stripped where it screws the two pieces together and both halves were just hanging underneath my Jeep. It may have been like this for a while, but it took the flexing to actually get the two half to separate.

Post by: BlacXJeep on July 28, 2010, 05:12:30 AM: damage update for Black Betty. bent lower control arm bracket. Bent wheel/very unbalanced tire, fried O2 sensor, shot tranny mount, exhaust knocked off, leaky gas tank.

exhaust welded together, new lower control arm mounts welded on, adjusted toe, and track bar, new O2 sensor. Tranny mount going in on Monday, figure out gas tank later (i believe its leaking on top near the vent tube)
