Anybody have a 8.8 diff cover they are not going to use? I took mine off for the first time yesterday and it is heavy duty, but home made with booger welds and slag all over the inside. Also can see where it didn't fit the first time around and gears dug into it. Looking for a heavy duty cover to replace before I go new with Solid or RuffStuff.

Solid has them for around $60. I have the original 8.8 cover if you want it.

Thanks Chuck, that is the plan, but thought I would see if anybody went from one heavy duty cover to another before I bought new. I'll probably order tomorrow or Tuesday

Ruffstuff is the way to go. Dan makes awesome products and his covers are insanely strong.

I know, I had RuffStuff covers on my TJ and I think that is what I have for the front of my YJ so I may go that route for the 8.8 also. I've never gone wrong with anything from RuffStuff.

X2 on the ruffstuff covers I believe hey are 3/8s thick? I have a Ridler cover for my front only because I got it stupid cheap. It's pretty f'n stout! I slam it all the time trying to hand with the big tire club. :)

I didn't see any sales at RuffStuff so I went ahead and bought a UCF diff cover since they were doing a 15% Labor Day weekend with free shipping. It should be here in a couple days.

ruffstuff always has a pirate4x4 10% off code, for future orders. PBB10 is the code.
