Title: Orvis Part Out

Post by: calvynandhobbs on February 18, 2010, 08:17:45 PM: If everything else is in good shape and you like it you should just put a new motor in it. That will be much cheaper than buying another Jeep and then building it to what you want it to be. I've always like the looks of the Orvis edition.

I am looking for a rebuilt 5.2. i called a few shops but i am not going to spend $3,000 or more to get a new motor put in. I have already pulled the old one out. I just figure its going to cost about the same to have the old rebuild as it would to buy a rebuilt

Post by: zjorvis97 on March 29, 2010, 12:22:15 AM: I got a new engine into the ZJ, not running quite yet but its got 75,000 miles on it so i would hope it does. Just a few more wires and new oil and we should be wheelin again. However i have moved back to PA and am no longer in the CG, not my choice and as some of you know you military careers can be made or ruined by the wrong person. I was not so lucky in that department. I hope to get back up to CT this summer do to some wheeling. Also, if anyone wants to come down to the PA Jeep show in July i have some land that can be used for wheeling/ camping.
