Title: 4.0L vs. 3.8L.
Post by: kirksjeep on November 20, 2012, 04:59:34 AM
The Speed channel show Truck U has an episode on the 4.0L vs. the 3.8L. I am a few minutes into it and nothing earth shattering.  Notice they didn't even cover the mini-van 3.7L

They s/c the 3.8 then fell asleep so did not see the rest.  Dont feel the 3.8 would last long with a s/c on it. The 4.0 is a much more stout engine. If your going to go that far then just drop a HEMI in it.

I can't see how a supercharger can be much use in the rocks.  Might be good in the sand.  I saw the roller rockers on the 4.0, but for $400, I can get a lot more useful stuff.
