Well, I got a locker for my rear Dana 44 today. I jumped right in and got it installed. Everything went great and its ready to go.
I did however find something very interesting. Three of the four spider gears are toast. They were definitely jumping teeth. I am just surprise you couldn't hear it. I am guessing I broke them up at Deadfall on the last trail rise. I just feel lucky I bought the locker when I did. I very carefully inspected everything else to make sure it was ok before putting it back together. I doubt it all would have survived the E4W Toys for Tots on Sunday.
