not sure if it can be used in Scotts welder, or if this is a good deal or not.

General use Mig wire is either .25  .35  or  .45 mm. They're pretty much compatible with any welder if the spool is small enough for the feeder to pull from. I used to use a 65lb spool in the factory but Scotts feeder probably can't handle that large of a spool. The only difference is that the tip that the wire comes out of has to be matched for that size wire.

It would fit however, I didn't see any rolls over 15 bucks in Home Depot when I bought the welder. It might be a double roll (8" diameter) which I can use but I have 2 rolls of wire right now and they should last me a while...:) Thanks anyway!
