Does anyone have a tire groover i could borrow?
I bit the bullet and ordered some Q78-15 TSLs (~ 36x11) and was looking into grooving the tires similar to this: http://www.off-road.com/aimages/articlestandard/jeep/512005/260290/P1010057.jpg (http://www.off-road.com/aimages/articlestandard/jeep/512005/260290/P1010057.jpg)
Just want to groove the inner "v" to increase traction a little.
Any thoughts?
Background:
KM2s are apparently on serious backorder. I placed an order online back on labor day weekend and when the estimated ship date came and went I called up the vendor. It will be at least another month until they get more KM2s in. I decided to cancel my order and get some skinny swampers.

I have one, remind me next week and Ill bring it in to work. My 38.5 TSL SX are grooved the same way.

If my 47's from my buggy build would fit on my truck I would run them, haha.

Only embarrassment is my 3.55 gear ratio HAHAHA

4.56s or 4.88s. It's the real way to go.

Agreed. Need to save up some $$

Just made the switch recently to 4.88 SUCH an improvement. Best modification to the Jeep by far.

Did you do it yourself?
-
No way! ;D I actually got new axles already geared to 4.88, still wouldn't have done it myself tho
