sucks, but usually after market wont crack when they get splashed with mud.

What do you mean finally, I helped a kid do that on his TJ last year like in august I think, however, they wern't borla, he got long tube headers from sombody and a whole exhaust kit, we just bolted it all on, it was real nice and easy I didn't have to touch the welder or a cutting device.
