Ipes JK build

Hey folks, like I said in the Mohawk Trail thread, the H3 had to go. It was a good truck but pissed off the wife and so... well, that was that.   :o  :'(  :D

In its place I picked up a JK Rubicon Unlimited. From the day I bought her I knew she wasn't going to be stock for long. And she wasn't but the wait seemed forever! So to me, its been a long time in the making but my Rubi has finally gained a proper altitude  ;)

I added a Poly Performance Synergy Stage III 3" lift with the Poly Performance shocks, Pro Comp 8128 16x8 wheels with the Staun internal beadlocks and Hankook DynaPro MTs off of my H3, Riddler cast iron dif covers, and a RockHard shorty bumper. This last weekend I installed a RockHard gas tank skid plate and a Woods tailgate closer kit. My buddy the UPS man delivered a Smittybilt XCR8 winch this morning and I'm expecting some Viking synth line, aluminum hawse, and a license plate mount in the next day or so.

I made many of my purchases with www.TrailDuty.com. I can't say enough great things about Trail Duty and its owner, Phil Day. He answered my many questions and helped immeasurably. I've ordered things in the past with Phil and as always, I have no hesitation in recommending Trail Duty to anyone looking for off road equipment. Trail Duty covers Hummer, Jeep, Yotas, etc.

I've been spending more time wrenching vs. picture taking. So far I've only got a couple pics. I'll be shooting more soon when I install the final goodies.

That's purdy...   ::) ;D

Can't wait to see her on the trails!  I have yet to see a JK on some rocks.  Maybe it has something to do with the 30k price tag!?  LMAO!!!  ;D

i love it.

real sharp.

must have to add a lot in order for it to look that way.

looks really different.

i like your approach angles on the front bumper.

have you looked at the soft tops that have a fast back stlye for the rear? i thought it was a good idea for departure and not having to worry about smacking the rear corners of the hard top.

I donno. I like that top a lot, so we'll see. I need to sell my OEM wheels and tires so that I can re-gear with some 5.13's first.  :-\
Whats that saying? Just Empty Every Pocket?  :o
