So I might have a bad coil in my rear locker.

I have been trying to figure out why the rear locker works for a little while and then pops the fuse.  I thought that maybe the diff connection was getting wet and shorting out, but it does it rain or shine.  It works for a little while and then pops, every time.  I talked with Auburn Gear about it.  They said to do the usual easy checks first, like popping the rear diff and checking the wires in there.  I could also try changing the ground, although both lockers share the same ground.  I need to check the coil resistance while I have the cover popped.  This should help determine whether or not the coil is bad.  Does anyone have a Fluke?
The good news is that even if it is the coil, I can still wheel it, and it will stay locked for a little while.  Also, Auburn Gear will send me a new one to be installed and then I just ship them the bad one.
The bad news is that it will cost me a couple hundo to get Pete to swap the coils.

Maybe I can get Auburn Gear to reimburse me!!!  (I'm not angry with Pete, just so that's clear.)
