any one have any experience w/ PC based OBD II scanners?  I've found a couple, one i esp. like.  Any recomendations?

i think i will get the first one listed, order tomorrow.  I can't wait too long since the aspire past due for a smog check and it has that pesky MIL lit.

you know that bumper to bumper and most other parts stores will lend you a handheld scanner to check/ clear that code right?

rocket:
yes, i do.  but getting a code number and clearing the light is only part of the diagnosis.  PC based scanners pull real time sensor data, i can hook up while drive and see what the ECM sees while i drive.  I can check for sensor degridation before it fails, the first one has a modual that is a dyno!

yeah they are cool stuff, I havent found a need to be that cool yet but can I borrow youres when it comes in?
