Trails in Trouble

Not sure of how many of you have already seen this but I thought I would post it here for our members to see.  It explains just how bad it could possibly get for us, the OHV recreationist if we don't start to worry about the political side of things.  When you watch the video look at the map he shows and the look at how much of the trails are going to be closed!  Anyway, take away from it what you will.  Our sport is deffinitely in the hurt locker and we all need to do our little part.

I signed the petition, they need 50,000 signatures, they have 52,856, but the more the marrier and maybe they will think twice before it would get tried again.

I've been meaning to post this.

Toxic will know all about both of these organizations.

They are both working to get more land to wheel on in CT and RI.

I know that the RIOHVA membership dues are ONLY $10 for the year.  Before you say that you don't wheel in RI, I know that one of your recent trips took you right on the CT/RI border.  Ever driven up 95, and seen the sand dunes near Exit 6?  RIOHVA is working to get those opened for use.

I'm sure that Dave knows about both, and can fill us in on what COALT is doing.

I am actually on the COALT forum.  Havent been there much as of late but there is a lot of good info on there.  As for RI wheeling, it is something that we should deffinitely check out because most of the land there isn't too far away from us.  Thanks for the RIOHVA thing, didn't know about that one.

Almost made it out to the RIOHVA first run, but we had other plans...will catch up with it one day

when my uncle was in the national guard as an attack helicopter pilot, his squardon used the dunes as drop exercises for E.O.D. units.
