Big Chuck:
I am going to pick up my Open 4.10 8.8 Explorer rear from a 99 Exlploder sport tomorrow morning at the scrap yard in Higganum. I ordered Lube locker gaskets for the 8.8 and the D30 that I picked up with 4.11 gears. Ordered the 1330 flange adapter, bought an SYE installed in a case that I have to swap into mine and Tom Woods Driveshaft from Roger. I am also picking up a TJ one piece passenger axle shaft and will make a block off plate. Anybody have a Dana 30 locker or 8.8 locker?

I did the tie rod flip when I did mine.  It was a little scary drilling through the knuckle and finding the right drill bit wasn't easy....but the end result is worth it.  Tie rod sits ~3" higher (doesn't hit rocks as often) and better steering geometry (less bump steer).

Just wanted to post up and let everybody know that I picked up an 8.8 today with ford racing 4.56's, LSD with ford racing kevlar clutch's and brand new brake shoes for $180 from a scrap yard in terryville. And no it's not for my samurai.
