« on: July 01, 2012, 03:58:05 PM »
ok so some time ago I broke my passenger front axle shaft  its pretty hard to find new ones and it ended up making more sense to get an upgrade kit. In prep I am trying to take out the driver side shaft as well cant seem to get it to come out does anyone know if this shaft is C clamped on an 04 Rubi if so what hell am I going to have to go through to get it out?

What shafts did you end up going with?
04 TJ, HP60, 14 Bolt, 5.13's, linked, locked, on 38's and (still) in the works.

did you have problems with the shaft or the unit bearings?  A bfh on the unit bearings cancause damage.  I use the steering to press out the unit bearing.
