anyone know about trapping squirrels?
« on: April 11, 2012, 04:56:09 AM »
I have flying squirrels in my attic AGAIN!
This is the 3rd time and I am not forking out $$$ for a pro to come get rid of them. I am looking for the caged repeater traps that have 1 or more 1-way doors to trap the squirrels.
I have looked online for these to no avail. Anyone have any idea where I can find them?

Brian,
Do you know where they are getting in from?  If so, you can make a wire mesh one way door, once the critters have vacated, seal up the enterence.

I know where they are getting in. I will be able to seal it once they are out. I like the repeater traps b/c then you can keep track of how many have been living there....it's probably more than one and I would want to know if the female has had babies.

Thanks for the link. But havahart doesn't sell the kind of trap I am looking for. They only carry the one that snaps a door shut behind the animal. I am looking for the kind that has a series of 1 way doors the squirrel goes through, but can't go back out.

Fortunately, i did find a company that has this!!
