So, Nate (Flex) had an issue, how to get a ~600lb fire place insert to the second floor living room of his house.  Answer: Use a Jeep.

Step 1: Snatch Block in Tree.





Step 2: Evaluate how to use tree savers to cradle said fire place insert.





Step 3: Stand clear of the cable and lift.  Once the positioning of the straps were verified, take it on up:





All in all, it worked great.  Once we had it on the deck, the three of us hand carted/lifted it into place in the living room.

Oh, and Nate... This wasn't even close to the most redneck use of a "crane" I found on the internet.
