BlacXJeep:
Tube fenders?! Nice

gearhead1985B:
Yes they are being a pita or maybe i am being to anal about the body lines and getting them to line up i woder what the tolerances for a factory cj7 hood cause mine is off about 3/16" from side to side  and i can't make the lines look good enough  i think i will pull the lip straight and move it up a bit

skibum:
It all depends on how much time you have to make all the body lines perfect. Your building a Jeep. Not a BMW so a 3/16in gap might accure after bashing it through the rocks but then again that gap you started off with could get better after a good trail ride. LOL. Your building a Rock crawler, not a Mall Crawler so Remember that a true off road rig is judged by the scrapes , scratches & dents. Not the perfect body lines. A fresh coat of mud should hide any inperfections. I no you want it to look perfect & if a 3/16in gap is noticed then tell that person that if I drive up onto the hood of your car then the gap will be perfect. LOL

Thumbs Up!!

My hood has been off by about 3 to 5/16 since the tube fenders went on. But i promise that they hold up and the gap was the least of my worries at that point..
