In-Vehicle Communications
B52BUFF:
Yesterday Footman and I were discussing putting some sorta headset in our jeeps so that passengers could talk to each other when the wind noise becomes to great. He is looking for a way to talk to his son in the back seat and I am just a geek who thinks it is a neat idea. I told him I would look into it and let him know what I found but figure that if he was thinking about it some of you may be also. One of the systems I found can be hooked up to your CB and stereo so you can hear everything. Here are a few things I have found. They can be pricey.

I am sure I can find more but this is what I have found so far. Not cheap, but then what is? I am still kind partial to the first one because it is a hardwired system.

I have been driving my jeep with the Doors off & Top down most of the time in the past month driving my Kids to school in the morning ( when there willing to dress up for the 40 deg temps at 7AM otherwize they have the option of taking the Big yeller) & can talk to them with little issue even at 70mph. The cash your going to spend on this commuication stuff could be spent on some needed off road goodies for the jeep. I just tell my Kids to speak up. Trust me. If your kids need to tell you something then they WILL make them selves be herd!!! ;D
