k looking at the power steering on my truck a 67 c 20 i have a ram assist style power steering on it and i just got quoted like $30 for a new ram and now i am wondering if i can use these parts on my jeep for ram assist the ram has about 8" of travel and is off the shelf at the local parts storeand they can make me any hydraulic line i want as long as i can get fittings which is not a problem caue they take factory chevy ps fittings
this thread has some picks of the ram and the steering set up

i can modify my tie rod to accept the tre with the hole in it for the drag link the ( part number es2233l) and weld a plate to the axle for the stud end for a solid mount and drill and tap the stock steering for the ram controls
so what are your opinions on it working
i will see what pirate says i have not found any one else trying it

sounds like a good plan i know ppl tap there stock box all the time. Just find a good way to mount ur ram and you should be all set.
