Didnt have time to explain why i needed a jeep in the first post, but those of you that know jade know that shes drives a POS and when said POS decided to to blow up and parts where going to cost twice the value of the car i decided this is a good reason to get another jeep, And this is what we ended up with.

111K, NP231, 8.25 rear, super clean no rust. One day u will see this on the trail. The attempt will be to keep it a sleeper nothing crazy just the right parts in the right place.

Ahhh the irish are buying up all the jeeps! Good job man, nice thing to do for your GF too, and now it will be easy to fix anything, and if it ever dies, we have easy access to cannibalize it for parts! Great picture also!

Nah its not the aap jeep i think that one would have been in worse shape. i needed something i could rely on to get jade around. This one is probably one of the cleanest Cherokee i have ever seen i feel i over paid slightly but i was in a pinch.

I went with Nate to check this beast out.  To say its clean is an understatement.  Short of them starting production on XJ's again or buying one out of the Chrysler museum, you'll never find one nicer.  Seriously, Deuce you should use this Jeep as the standard when you start looking for your project Jeep when you get back.

I wouldn't say you overpaid either; just didn't get as good on a deal you might have been able to get if you had more time.  Even then, you'd be hard pressed to find one that good again.  Plus, just think about how happy Jade was when you brought it back.  It was defiantly worth the money.  Now you know she's got a safe reliable vehicle to drive.  It's just a bonus she loved it.

The 97-01 XJ's make a nice daily driver and stock parts are cheep.  Mine is pushing 208K and still going strong.  I used some Duplicolor trim black to resotre the side moldng and the bumper caps to a new appearance.
