steering upgrade

looking into upgrading my steering with a new kit. i had the currie heavy duty steering kit in my cherokee. teraflex makes a good one but i don't know if i should get a high steer kit or not. any suggestions?

This is the basic "kit" I am using for my build.  1 ton chevy rod ends with 1.5" 1/4" wall DOM tube.  I'll be running it in a full crossover, but they have options to give you the parts you need to build it however you want to.

Ask for Chase Perry there.  He's seemed to be a good guy and seemed to know what he is talking about.

now how much do these actually help? when i replaced the steering with the currie kit on my xj the only reason i noticed it was alot smoother was because my steering was completely worn out. ???

If there's nothing currently wrong with your steering you won't see a difference with the JCR steering. It is a replacement that is much stronger than the stock so all you are doing is preventive armoring of your steering system.
