A few options...  http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/high-lift-roll-bar-mount-write-up-pics-792521/

That has got to be the best place I have ever seen to mount a High lift jack!!!  Away from the weather & theives. Also right there when you need it.  I will be trying that when I find the time.  Thanks for the info Will.

while we are on the topic of h-lifts,  i ran across a generic, non name brand 48" hi-lift while cleaning the mo-inlaw's garage. it is mostly there, but there are some key components (dont know which ones though) that are keeping it from operating correctly.  I dont know where it came from, but if a can use it, it'll save me 70 bucks on a new one. any one know of generic. off the shelf rebuild parts that may include a little more than just bolts and snap rings? It's not a BIG big  deal, but i like to save money where i can.

For mounting i just zip tie mine to the roll bar and call it a day i think i have used a total of $1.00 worth of zip ties since i started zip tying it up instead of wedging It behind the seats
