safety
« on: November 04, 2010, 04:53:36 AM »
Just want to encourage safety as everyone works on thier vehicles. I know it is easy to take shortcuts when we have done a job a few times. i am guilty as well.

I bring this up b/c a friend of mine's cousin died this week after a car fell on them. he was working underneath and the vehicle collapsed on him. he was flown to Boston with cardiac arrest and died 2 days later.

jacks and jack stands fail....always throw a tire or something under there to support the weight if the car falls. that tire may save your life.
