Need to buy new GPS

My GPS was stolen from my Jeep this past weekend so now I'm in the market to buy a new one. I was probably tempting fate by leaving it on the windshield all the time and it finally caught up with me. Has anybody been doing research on GPS units recently? Mine was a TomTom and I liked it, but I want something that already has the US and Canada maps downloaded.

My Garmin C330 has been giving me issues for a bit now and finally last week it stopped receiving the signals while I was in the middle of nowhere.  I got 5 or 6 good years out of it and loved it.  You may consider looking at the Garmin Nuvi 1250.  They are apparently discontinuing it and therefore you would probably be able to pick it up at a lower price.  I recommend looking at Tiger GPS also.  I bought mine at Bass Pro Shoppe because I was on the road.

Because I used to travel for my job I got a chance to try out most of the GPS units offered by the different car rental places and found I liked Garmin the best.  They are easy to use and I like the features.  Hope this helps
