Lift Kit Installation
calvynandhobbs:
A lady that I work with just stopped by my desk and asked if I knew of any places around here that will install a lift kit into a Wrangler. Her husband has a 2005 TJ that he bought a lift kit for almost 2 years ago that is still sitting in boxes in the basement. He's decided that he doesn't have time to do it so they are looking to pay for somebody to install the lift for them. Is there anybody here that wants to make a little side money or does anybody know of a place that will install it? My classes finish up the 2nd week of July so I told her that we could probably do it as a club if he wanted to wait a little longer. What's 6 weeks when the kit has been sitting around for 2 years already. If there is somebody that is confident in their wrenching skills that has the time there is an opportunity.

I would help, lets do it as a fund raiser for the clubs insurance.

That's a great idea, but...Where would we do it, who's tools, ect..
Roger, what kind of lift is it, body or suspenion?
I'm sure I could get rid of the wife and have the whole garage for a day!
Just not sure how many would come out to my place to help.

Jody thinks that it's a 4" suspension lift, but she wasn't really sure. I'll ask her about it tomorrow and get some more details. If we have more than 3-4 people we'll end up with some just sitting around so I don't think we'll have a problem getting enough people out to your place.
