General use Mig wire is either .25  .35  or  .45 mm. They're pretty much compatible with any welder if the spool is small enough for the feeder to pull from. I used to use a 65lb spool in the factory but Scotts feeder probably can't handle that large of a spool. The only difference is that the tip that the wire comes out of has to be matched for that size wire.

It would fit however, I didn't see any rolls over 15 bucks in Home Depot when I bought the welder. It might be a double roll (8" diameter) which I can use but I have 2 rolls of wire right now and they should last me a while... Thanks anyway!
