4.10's make a big difference.  What year YJ did they come from?

the axles came from a 1995 so i needed a conversion joint for the rear and i love bumper to bumper cause they had one in stock and the differance was night and day on the highway and on the trail on the highway i can use over drive and accelerate no longer am having to down shift on the hills on 2 i think i can get 34's or 35's and it will still be ok i like the gearing and its accelates like even better than when i was on 31's

on the trail i was able to walk up stuff that i was unable to before so all i need to do is get the speedo geared right so i can calculate the fuel millage correctly

kirksjeep:
Since they are out of a 95 you also have the bigger front U-joint, so it should be a 290 vs a 260.  95 was the only year YJ with the bigger U-joints.  The rear pinion U-joint is a 1330 vs the 1310.  If you ever come across a 94 or 95 YJ with matching drivetrain the drive shaft will bolt right up.
