gearhead1985B:
I am trying to remove an axle shaft from a dana 35 non c clip and i have unbolted everything and removed the spiders and the axle will not come out am i missing something this is on a 2002 grand cherokee with rear disc

I don't think non c-clip D35s were used after 1990 or 1991. When I removed shafts in my D44 it was very difficult to get them to budge. It took a couple hits with a hammer to break them free and then they slid out, but I would double check for c-clips if I were you.
gearhead1985B:
I have the spider gears out there were no c clips so do i go at it with a slide hammer on the wheel mounting flange
kirksjeep:
Dana 35's were never made with disc brakes, sounds like the crappy D44 that came with the GC's. I am guessing you pulled the discs and the bolts that hold the axle shafts in place.

That's what I'm thinking. You probably have a D44a, which is aluminum.
