Flex:
so the only shims i have been able to find are carrier shims but i believe those r for the outside of the carrier not the inside but im wondering if they r the same size as the ones in the middle if so they will work anyone know if they r?
kirksjeep:
Don't forget to make sure the cam gears on the left side are engaged so they will allow the right side to separate as far as it can. Also give a tug on the left side axle shaft to make sure it is all the way out. I don't remember if it is in the instructions or if I read it some where else, but make a separator out of a metal clothes hanger. You shouldn't need any different shims. If you still can't get it call Dave at Northridge 4x4, they are one of the top distributors and should be able to offer advice.
Flex:
k ill try give more of a slam to seat the clips and to make space fingers crossed.
Flex:
so i spread the right side axle gear from the right side cam gear with two screwdrivers and there was no way to get the c clip between them. guess ill give the guy at north ridge a call tomorrow, i dont see how its gonna work without getting sometype of smaller thrust washers.
rocket:
i have no idea, but will be free next week starting Wed, if you, or anyone is gonna do any wrenching
