yes they would work great but i got to much free time at the hobby shop and these were free

well i got one brake drum off finaly umm yeah they are toast and the backing plate is rusted to hell looks like i can do this

should not be that hard as soon as i get more PB and a bigger hammer and find some good steel to start making componets and brakets

Thats a pretty good way to upgrade the brakes.  You definitly need to upgrade the master cyclinder/ proportioning valve and probabaly the booster.  I know there are some conversions using Ford Van parts, but I don't remeber the specifics.  If you search around on www.jeepforum.com I'm sure you could find it.

well i got the pasenger side apart (6 cans of PB and a 10# sledge and 3 hours later) got the parts orderd now the fun begins
