was bored last night and my sis-in-law is tired of re-charging her ac every week, so i tore the dash outa the wj for her.  only took me 45 min.  used nothing but the ryobi cordless drill to get the thing apart.  theyre so easy i'll do these all day long.

Yuck, anything with that many wires scares the heck out of me. I had to take the dash apart in my 96 Explorer with a V8 a few years ago because the blend door on the AC/Heat was broken. I got it done, but I didn't like seeing all those wires out on display.

Tsunami:
oooh... yeah... no :P

PaulW:
These are easy as hell. Bulk head connectors for all the wires.  nothing has to be removed from the dash except the lower trim covers and the column.  $hit the worst part is going to be re-connecting the remote starter.  i was able to remove the entire dash with the 1/2" cordless ryobi drill.  This is a quick $350 in my pocket.  I even got the vehicle owner to buy me a 30LB cyl of 134a.
