Receiver hitch type carrier
« on: April 20, 2009, 07:36:45 PM »
Does anybody have a carrier that mounts in a 2" receiver hitch that I can borrow Thursday this week? I just located a rear axle in Guilford and want to go pick it up and I figure one of those will be much easier than trying to get the axle up into the back of my XJ. That's another one of those things I have in Michigan that I should have brought out here with me. I've carried several axles on mine in the past for myself and for friends.

Talk to Rocket.  My trailer isn't legal yet, otherwise I'd let you use it.
Axle:  2

My utility trailer is covered in junk.  I may be able to get to the dump Wednesday, but I hear it is going to rain.  If no one else can help out, worst case we would just need to move the junk off.

I was really hoping somebody had one of those carriers rather than having to pull a trailer down there.

you can borrow my trailer, but i will need it back by sat.  I do have a carrier, but it's designed for bikes, not sure you could use it, though.
