The stock Dana 30 and 35 are gone!!!!
kirksjeep:
I sold my original Dana 30 and 35 tonight for $180. :) Since I was keeping the Dana 30 in the garage I now have a little more room, and since the Dana 35 was sitting out on my car hauler, I'm sure my neighbor is glad to see it gone. ;) I also have a few more $$$ for parts. I thinking of getting a Solid Diff Cover for the front, 760x Alloy USA U-joints for the front axle shafts, and some Superior axle seals. I'm planning on replacing the 2 piece passenger side axle shaft and replacing it with one from a 98 XJ to do away with the vacuum disconnect system.
The guy who bought the axles was an Army guy that put an Aussie in a 1990 Dana 30 and in less then 30 minutes he broke the drivers side axle shaft right where the shaft part and the U part are attached on the inner shaft. It some pretty thick steel in that area so I'm sure he was heavy on the skinny pedal. He said he had just replaced the U-joints with some cheap ones and they held up just fine. Bad for him, but Good for me since the axles are gone.

I already have a Super Charger..............but on the Truck. I think I would need some Dana 60's to handle 35's with a SC on the Jeep. Actually with the Chip, Bored out Throttle body, intake, exhaust, Accel coil and pug wires the 4.0 does pretty well.
