Control Arm Bracket

Seabee_BUC:
Sorry for the delayed response Rich, I'm on leave right now until Thursday and my welder is at work. It will have to wait until the weekend if you need me to do it. Are you replacing all the brackets at once?

CaptORM:
No just the front passenger lower bracket....Ill be working between you and Hotrod to get the welding done.   I still havent ordered my parts so I dont have them and Im not quite ready to do it all yet.   I havent done anything with it yet.

Seabee_BUC:
Since you actually have something else to drive, why wouldn't you replace all of them at once? Remove the axle, grind it nice and smooth and then properly relocate the new heavy duty brackets? I'll be honest, I can't weld upside down very well at all...and I know it doesn't have to be beautiful but it DOES have to be strong since it's a major suspension link, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing a half ass weld on it just to save some time...... Just my .02

CaptORM:
All right ordered all the parts yesterday so fix to happen soon.  I sat down the other day and wondered why the best vehicle in the snow in my driveway was sitting there collecting snow and ordered the parts.

So this weekend...

rocket:
post a time/location for the work!
