ive actually crushed my tailpipe to the point of exhaust restriction and performance loss.

I bought a flowmaster "super44" and then cut my exhaust after my cats (upstream of the resonator) Pete at CT Axle welded in the new muffler underneath my belly skid. Muffler cost me $89. It dumps right after my TCase.

I'm running Glasspaks that dump right about the same place. The turndowns are about 6-8 inches past the end of the tranny/t-case skid. As for the sound, it will get louder once the fiberglass in the muffler gets "broken in".
